Congratulations to Hank Stern of InsureBlog for completing his first year with the Cavalcade of Risk. Hank usually hunts for extra risk related blogs to include in each edition, but for the anniversary edition he decided to stick with just us “regulars”. That was still enough to get 15 top quality posts.

It was interesting to watch the forum on HSAs hosted by the CATO institute. If I weren’t so far away in Colorado, I would have liked to go. Michael is VERY knowledgeable and has some great ideas to further HSAs, and gets some good comments from experts Kate Baicker and Jason Furman. If you don’t have an hour and 22 minutes to watch the whole thing, I would really recommend that you at least spare the first 10-15 minutes to hear his view on the bias toward employer sponsored health insurance over individual health insurance.
