Michael was able to negotiate 50% off his MRI bill.  He had to do it because he has a high deductible HSA qualified health insurance plan and was paying out of pocket.  This reminds me of of my lipoma surgery I just had.  I still haven’t gotten my bill yet, but I’m even more inspired to negotiate it when it comes.  I’m kindof a weenie though, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to play hardball like Michael did.
