Bob:
I'll let the comment stay because it speaks to a conspiracy hypothesis I have about that...
These campaigns (on both sides) are sophisticated, well-oiled machines. The messages you see coming from the ads and speeches are well thought out, researched and focus grouped. Should I really believe the McCain campaign is relying on someone who is just acting flaky? I'm suspicious that this lady was part of a strategy conjured up well before the Wisconsin primary. By then, Rush Limbaugh had operation chaos in high gear. Republicans were showing up in large numbers to vote for Hillary Clinton and it was obvious the GOP was going to use the bitterness of Clinton supporters as a wedge to pick off democratic voters. I don't think it is too crazy to think they also had people posing as democrats with the intent of becoming eventual "Democratic delegates who support McCain."
