Many of the &quot;conservatives&quot; I communicate with are adamant about not taking away anything, regardless of the cost.
They believe if one can afford a product or service, in which the vast majority could not afford, it should still be available.
They cite all the expensive innovations which came down in price, after being affordable only by the elites.

While we can see some truth in that for nedical care, there seem to be some procedures which continue to be super expensive, regardless of how long they have been available.
We are going to have to make some tough choices about these procedures.
I tend to lean toward not making them available, at any price.
However, in the land of &quot;me first,&quot; that doesn&#039;t seem reasonable.
