		<description>Unfortunately, if you develop health conditions in the current health care system, you&#039;re screwed.  But we are still lucky to live in a state like Colorado that has &quot;socialist&quot; programs like CoverColorado. 
 
CoverColorado is funded by the following sources:

    * 25% insurance carriers
    * 25% CoverColorado insured premiums
    * 50% Colorado general fund

Some southern, red states, don&#039;t beleive in funding these programs...  Too sick to work and get coverage through an employer?  Can&#039;t qualify for individual coverage?  Too bad.</description>

		<description>That is a similar situation to a close friend of mine and she hasn&#039;t found any better solutions either.  She had to go on cover colorado, but it has a high deductible and is expensive.  She is also concerned about the $1,000,000 lifetime maximum.  Hopefully somebody knows of a better solution?</description>
