Anytime we talk about a government expansion of health care, taxpayer funding is implied.

I have worked in the health insurance field and my dad is a health insurance executive, so I may be a little biased, but I think that insurance companies get a pretty bad wrap. we NEED them! They are so important--we use their services but hate what they do. It confuses me. I think that insurance is essential and people should look into the methods of insurance and how it works.

Again, a government expansion of health care is unrealistic. Who's going to pay for it? How do you pay for it? The taxpayers. The same people who are your customers. You want more money one way or the other. I don't know. Maybe you'll get it now that there are Dems in Washington. The better solution is a whole new way of doing business - including some of the proposals you suggest. But in all honesty there is no more money. We have bankrupted our futures and the idea of government health care will only make it worse for everybody.
