An important point not mentioned about health care in Massachusetts is that residents who cannot afford to purchase health insurance can apply to receive health insurance from the Commonwealth. Premiums or co-pays through these plans depend on income. I believe, also, that if residents' income is below a certain level the penalty will be waived for failure to comply with the health insurance mandate. The coverage is very good, and many doctors, dentists, eye doctors, etc. participate in the state plans.

I don't see how Obama is going pass Universal Health Care on a634 Billion dollar budget when the cost is estimated at 1.5 trillion. Oh wait yes I do, TAXPAYERS!
